“Pele Velentina” is a spelling used online for Pele Valentina, the daughter of television personality Lisa Kennedy Montgomery and former professional snowboarder Dave Lee. Contemporary reporting identifies her as Pele Valentina and confirms her family connection.
Is her name Pele Velentina or Pele Valentina?
The spelling in PEOPLE’s birth announcement is Pele Valentina. Published on July 12, 2005, the report attributed confirmation of the birth to Kennedy’s representative.
“Velentina” appears in later online biographies about the same family. The difference should not be interpreted as evidence of two separate people or a name change. For this family connection, Valentina is the spelling supported by the contemporary announcement; Velentina is the variation readers may encounter on biography websites.
How old is Pele Valentina?
Pele was born on July 1, 2005, in Los Angeles. She turned 21 on July 1, 2026.
The birth date also appears in a United Press International report republished by TribLIVE. That report explicitly credited PEOPLE, so the two articles represent the same underlying announcement rather than separate confirmations. Both described Pele as her parents’ first child.
Some later biographies give conflicting July 1 and July 2 dates. The contemporary announcement supports July 1.
Who are her parents?
Her mother, Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, is known professionally as Kennedy. She became familiar to television audiences through MTV, including appearances on Hangin’ with MTV and Alternative Nation. Fox News lists Kennedy as a contributor and host of the Kennedy Saves the World podcast.
Her father, Dave Lee, was described in the birth coverage as a former professional snowboarder who was teaching the sport at that time. A 2013 interview with Snowboard Magazine identifies him as Signal Snowboards’ founder. He discussed the company’s Every Third Thursday web series, which explored experimental snowboard designs and the manufacturing process.
These accounts establish her parents’ professional backgrounds without establishing a particular career path for Pele herself.
Does Pele have a sister?
Pele has a younger sister named Lotus. A December 2013 Daily Beast profile of Kennedy identified both daughters.
The sisters also appear together in a more recent public source: an episode of their mother’s podcast.
What is her recent public appearance?
An episode of Kennedy Saves the World published on August 21, 2026, features Pele and Lotus joining Kennedy in the studio. Its title is “Happy Hour: Kennedy’s Daughters On Dating, Money & Freshmen Mistakes”.
The programme’s description presents it as the sisters’ first podcast appearance together. It says they offer advice for students starting high school or college, including money mistakes and academic strategies. Apple Podcasts lists the episode as approximately 17 minutes long.
The description establishes Pele’s participation in a family podcast conversation. It does not identify her college, qualifications or occupation, and the subjects discussed should not be mistaken for confirmation of those details.
Is Pele Valentina a singer?
Legit.ng’s biography describes Pele as a musician and associates her with a debut single called “Broken”, reportedly released in 2024. However, that career claim remains unverified: the article does not provide an official release link or an artist statement connecting the recording to Kennedy’s daughter.
An appearance on her mother’s podcast does not resolve the music question. Until an identifiable artist release or direct statement establishes that connection, the song should be treated as an unconfirmed biographical claim rather than a verified professional credit.
